Can you move a septic field?

Yes, but you have to have the ground tested where the new system will be placed. Then plans will have to be drawn and approved by a certified designer. They will then have to be approved by the town in which you live in. finally after all of that a certified installer of septic systems must do the work. The state inspector will then hopefully sign of on them. This is a lot of work and very expensive! Make sure that if you do go through with it, you make sure the designer allows for upgrades to your house for the future ..ie an addition..extra bedrooms and bathrooms.
