What type of respirator is recommended for interior house painting?

Two types of respirators are generally worn when spraying paint; air-purifying and air-supplied. If oxygen levels are not adequate, the air-supplying respirator must be used. The type of air-purifying respirators that are used during paint spraying remove particulate vapors and gas, and are called Particulate Vapor and Gas Removing Air-Purifying Respirators.
