Are cells made mostly of water?

Cells are 70% water because water is necessary for life. It is a good solvent and evaporating coolant. Because it can turn into ice it can be very buoyant. It has cohesion, adhesion, and capillarity. It also has a high specific heat and high boiling point allowing for organisms to have time to adapt before temperatures change.
