Speaking as a long retired person, you can look at my list on my profile, but the canned list they give and only allowing 5 responses is limiting. I'd say most retired people are involved with hobbies. I engage in a variety of hobbies in addition to the ones listed on my profile.

  • I answer questions here.
  • I enjoy photo editing.
  • I teach a free course in photo editing online.
  • I visit historical markers, get their coordinates, take pictures of them and post all this on the web.
  • I'm a volunteer long term care nursing facility ombudsman.
  • I geocache.
  • I letterbox.
  • I help friends and acquaintances with their computer issues.
  • I love to discuss and analyze people's behavior, political issues, etc. Doing this I visit friends locally and all over the U.S. on the phone.
  • I created and maintain an extensive website.

Many people love to travel. Others fish, hike, Golf, swim and do almost all the recreational activities working people would like to have the time to do.
Retired people often volunteer for various ways of helping others -- e.g., tutoring children, driving disabled people to appointments, etc.

Some people work part time for extra money, and some people mostly watch TV. I watch TV and Netflix streaming video a couple or three hours most nights.
