What happend to Odysseus after the fall of troy?

After the fall of Troy, Odysseus faced a long and perilous journey home to Ithaca, which took ten years due to various challenges. Eventually, he returned home to find his palace overrun by suitors vying for his wife Penelope's hand in marriage.
