Do you agree that Software and Movie Piracy should be considered criminal or not and why?

Software and Movie piracy IS considered as criminal (by certainly most of the states of the world, if not all)

Software and movie both are created by individuals and organisations for making profit and earning money and is considered to be their property. Only they have the right to distribute and sell it in whichever way they please.

It takes a lot of efforts and money to create their product, and usually charge for using it. Privacy consists of illegally distributing these products, causing loss to the owners and creators which would otherwise have been earned by selling it. Also distributing something that a person does not have a right on is illegal.
