Is Stone Coast Academy a real school?

Please DO NOT attend schools like Stone Coast Academy, Cornerstone Christian Correspondence School or Continental Academy! These are DIPLOMA MILLS, designed to rip off students purely for money. I have worked in higher education for over a decade, and I have never once seen a legitimate college or university accept diplomas from these places. If you truly want to advance your education, take the time to earn a GED - you will get an ACTUAL education, and be fully prepared should you want to continue on to college. Stone Coast has multiple flags on their business from the BBB and is unwilling to accept any responsibility for wrongdoing. It is absolutely infuriating that these types of places are allowed to operate.
