How do you get swimming pool maintenance certificate in Israel?

You need to have from five to ten years working experience in the service, repair and/ or building of Swimming Pools. Once you've accomplished those items then you should take an in depth course(s) in the related field so that you can prepare for the tradescontractor's test in your state. The tests, depending upon your state requirements, cover items such as figuring the volume of water in a multi cube/shape aquatic pool with varing depths, widths and lengths. You must have a thorough knowledge of swimming pool chemistry, an indepth knowledge of heater components and what makes the work and not work. You should be extremely good at water hydraulics ... knowing how to plumb, install heaters, filters, pumps, and other automatic devices. You should know how to size heaters, pumps or filters or multiple heaters, filters and pumps to the varing sizes of swimming pools. You should know the flow rates of the above pieces of equipment and flow rates of various sizes of PVC & copper pipe. You need a good handle on your math and calculating skills. Matering soldering, glueing of copper or PVC pipe are a given. And oh, you also have to pass the test to qualify for your license. Once you've passed your test for the license and paid for your bond and insurance you are ready. You also must keep current on the latest of equipment and all the codes which pertain to swimming pools or aquatic recreational facilities. You must take and pass other series of tests in the related field ... CPO certification, Water Chemistry certification etc. among other items.
