one answer:
I am still not sure that Obama lied about Obamacare. Certain information still needs to be released for me to define my feelings on the subject.
another answer:
Whenever partisans dislike or disagree with a president, they always accuse him of "lying." During the eight years of President Bush, Democratic partisans frequently accused him of lying, and now Republican partisans are doing the same about everything President Obama says and does. But in this particular case, there is no evidence Mr. Obama lied about the Affordable Care Act. Clearly, he had a set of expectations, some of which have happened very nicely, and some of which have yet to be implemented smoothly. The good news, for example, is that people are no longer being denied coverage due to a pre-existing condition, and women are getting free mammograms as part of preventive care. These and other elements have been very smooth. But the new website for signing up -- well, not so smooth, and actually kind of embarrassing. But it's early in the process: it is too soon to know if Obamacare will be a success, and too soon to label it a failure. Assuming that everything President Obama says is a lie sounds great on a talk show, but such an assessment rarely matches up to reality.
