Describe Jack's violent reaction in Lord of the Flies?

He goes nuts and kills pigs all the time and kills people (not on purpose is what you're led to believe, but I don't buy it).



Another answer: Jack has two specific violent reactions. The first happened after the fire was allowed to go out on the mountain. Piggy critiscised Jack and Jack punched him in the stomach and slapped him around the head. The second occasion was when Ralph called Jack a thief, Jack rushed straight at him and attempted to stab Ralph in the chest with his spear.
