Where is VIN number located?

A Vehicle Identification Number is located in a few places, but the easiest to find and read are 1: on the dashboard up close to the windshield on the driver's side (most easily read through the windshield from outside), 2: on a sticker on the driver's side door near the latch mechanism, and 3: your vehicle registration and/or insurance paperwork should list it.
