What pesticide would control aphids?

Attention to cultivation requirements, introduction of natural enemies, removal by gloved hand or mechanical tool, row covers, and use of horticultural oils and insecticidal soaps are environmentally friendly ways to get rid of aphids. Heavy aphid presences indicate such environmental stress as prolonged drought or human error as over-fertilizing, over-watering, or under-watering. Plants whose heat, light, moisture and nutrient needs are respected tend to have fewer problems with such swarming insect pests as aphids and mealybugs.
