Is it normal for a 12 year old boy to have stuffed animals in his bed?

I would expect a 7 year old or younger,but not a 12 year old unless he/she has gone through a tragic accident or IS in a bad issue.To make sure he/she isn't going through a bad issue,such as a bully or watching the teacher be REALLY HARSH.
