How long do heelers live?

As with any dog, the expected life span can be affected many ways. Health issues can shorten an animals life quite a bit. Nutrition, immunization, exercise, and even the amount of love they get can all play a part in how long they live. On the average however, most heelers live to be 12-15 years old, with the first 10-12 years being their most active.
