What is the definition of empowerment?

To me, it is enabling another person to use their best gifts and talents using respect and kindness. To do this, provide information and model behavior as needed, rather than shame or punishment when there is a difference in the behavior you expect vs. what you get.

To me, one must first define where the power comes from and then to whom it goes too.

If the power comes from the carnal realm of mankind it can very in it's abilities, scope, dimensions, etc. But, it will terminate with the one who is empowered. Therefore it is limited in duration.

If however, if it comes from the One who has created all there is, and in every realm being unlimited and Eternal in nature and character. The Empowerment will do that which is in the Divine Mind and Plan of the Empowerer. This Power is unlimited in time and never to cease, it overcomes time because it is Immortal and Incorruptible. These are the Manifested Sons of God!
