Why does my 87 subaru station wagon suddenly start blowing out a lot of white smoke and also start spluttering the more revs i give it the more it splutters and barley moves it even stopped once?
If it's WHITE smoke, it's probably mostly steam, and indicates you are about to blow a head gasket. Get it fixed quick. If it goes completely, you could be looking at a complete engine rebuild.
