Not that I know of no - but there are some urban myths out there related to the story, one that is particularly similar is called smile.jpg, The story of an image that is a dog with a human smile with a hand beckoning in the corner of the screen, which is believed to cause the viewer insanity, vivid nightmares and to trigger epileptic fits in sleep. The original image cannot be found on the web, but peoples interpretation of the image can be found. I do not know much on the story, but from my research it to appears to be a meme, one of these ideas that spreads around people like chain mail on the internet.
