Is a mosquito a German world war 2 plane?

The 'Mosquito' was a British twin-engined aeroplane manufactured by de Havilland, out of wood, and carrying a crew of two. It was one of the fastest, and probably the most versatile, aeroplanes of the war, with photo recce, fighter, and bomber versions being built.
