What would cause a grinding noise from the rear-end of a 1997 Toyota Rav4 all wheel drive the noise happens mostly when turning corners is it the rear diff or hub bearings?

If it happens only when turning corners, this is likely to come from the differential. A ball bearing problem would make noise all the time.
