How do you connect an old iPod to new itunes with out losing songs on ipod?

Im not completely sure on what your asking. But if you asking if you can connect a iPod to a new iTunes library; No you cant. Apple made sure you cant because if you could they would lose money. You can do it with 3rd party software that you pay for. google it.
