# Step 1 -Boil enough noodles for three people. you'll have to kinda guess at how much you will need. when the noodles are finished boiling, strain them and set aside.
-You can use the boiling time to prep your other ingredients. cut the meat into strips that are about 1/4 inch wide by 2 inch long at a thickness of about 1/8 inch. This is not an exact science, you can cut the meat anyway you wish. I cut the meat in this manner because the thinner it is, the faster it will cook. # Step 2 -Put 1/4 cup ofcooking oil into a wok or skillet.
-When the oil becomes hot, pour the whisked eggs into the oil, and scramble them.
-Do not cook the eggs all the way, remove eggs while they are still a bit uncooked. Don't worry, they will finish cooking later. # Step 3 -Put oil into your wok (skillet)
-When the oil becomes hot, put the meat in.
-Stir the meat back and forth to cook evenly.
-When the meat is completely cooked, pour in about 2 tablespoon of soy sauce.
-stir a couple times and add the rest of the vegetables, stir frequently. # Step 4 -when the vegetables have completely cooked (soft) then add the following and stir:
Pinch of chicken bouillon
Pinch of salt
Pinch of white pepper
2 tablespoon oyster sauce
The egg mixture
Note: You will want to turn the mixture over and over every few minutes. # Step 5 Your chow mien is finished when the noodles become hot again.
You can sample every few minutes to or so to check their status. (NOT THIS RECIPE WAS TAKEN FROM : http://www.ehow.com/how_4838534_make-chow-mein.html )
