What do lamergiers eat?

Lammergeiers, also known as bearded vultures, primarily eat bone and carrion. They have a unique feeding behavior where they drop bones from great heights onto rocks to break them open, allowing them to access the marrow inside. While they may occasionally consume small mammals or carrion, their diet is predominantly focused on bones. This specialization in bone consumption sets them apart from other vulture species.
