What happened to Robespierre as the Reign of Terror ended?

He was arrested and charged with Dictatorship and tyranny by political foes within the revolutionary government. Not given a trial, he was sentenced to death. He unsuccessfully attempted suicide before his execution and was guillotined on July 28, 1794
