What is a Republican party?

A Republican system has emphasis on liberty, rule of law, and popular sovereignty in theory. In practice it allows conglomerate monopolization of industry, impoverishment of the working class through enforced taxation and inflammatory pricing of all consumer goods, tax breaks for the wealthy.
