The Honda three-wheeler, known as the Honda ATC (All-Terrain Cycle), was developed by Honda in the late 1970s. The project was led by engineer and designer Shoji Sato, who aimed to create an off-road vehicle that combined the stability of a motorcycle with the versatility of a four-wheeler. The first model, the ATC90, was introduced in 1970 and became popular for recreational use. Honda continued to evolve the design throughout the 1980s with various models.
