George Washington Carver experienced various health issues throughout his life, including chronic respiratory problems, which are believed to have been exacerbated by his work with plants and soil. He also suffered from a number of ailments later in life, such as pneumonia and possibly a stroke. Despite these challenges, Carver remained dedicated to his work in agriculture and education until his passing in 1943.
