When did bumblefoot join guns 'n roses?

Bumblefoot, whose real name is Ron Thal, joined Guns N' Roses in 2006 as a guitarist. He became part of the band during the recording of their long-awaited album "Chinese Democracy." Bumblefoot contributed to the band's live performances and songwriting until he left in 2014.
