Best bet is to call the member number on your BCBS Insurance Card and ask!! Always get the person's name you spoke to and write it down along with the date and time you spoke to them for back up purposes and good record keeping :)

According to my BCBS of MA rep they do cover.......if you are aged 60 or older only. According to the recent FDA guidelines the age has been lowered to 50 and up, but the BCBS rep said they still follow the ACIP (Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices) of aged 60 and up and she doesn't know if/when ACIP will revise their guidelines to follow the FDA guidelines.....but BCBS will not change their guidelines until after the ACIP does!
