An Excellent question for your doctor. You may have pseudogout caused by calcium deposits. A doctor can test for this. Everyone has uric acid in their body fluids, though Multiple sclerosis patients have very little. Iron is suspected by some to 'fix' uric acid in the body not allowing it to be excreted.
