Why is animal testing bad?

Animal testing is one of the many things that people hate. It can also mean extinction to a certain species if not taken seriously. Although animal testing for medicines helped us, people are doing the exact same tests all over again! And people who think that the same animal testing today as a long time ago is a good idea, then you guys are seriously messed up!
