I wasted way too much time for directions on the web, and found nothing. So here's what I did - it's probably not how Honda would tell you to do it. I bought a new window for about $80 (dealership or website).
My window was smashed, so this describes how to put a new one in. It also tells you how to replace the small triangular vent window.
Remove the bolt (10mm) and bracket that holds the bottom of the rear vertical window track. All you see is the bolt head, but there's a spacer between the inside of the door and the track. You can just reach inside and get it when you take the bolt out. Then if you gently lift the gasket away from the top of the track, you'll see a small screw that you need to remove. Then pull the main window gasket out (from the corner near the screw) enough to move the vertical track a couple of inches towards the front of the car. Pull the small triangular vent window out.
Then you can put the new window in, placing the edges it into both tracks. Place the two bolts at the bottom of the window into the regulator bracket holes. No need to adjust the bolts - they just slide into the holes on the bracket. I put the triangular window back in then, screwed the top of the slide back in, pushed the gasket back into place.
You might want to raise the window slowly, and/or leave the bolts a little slack, in case something needs to be adjusted. Good luck. pafricana@hotmail.com
