As was just said, depends. MOST states have no provision to register ordinary firearms. A few states do. Concealed carry laws are set by each state, and can vary a great deal. My home state of Virginia has no way TO register a gun. Some states require that the handgun that you carry be listed on your permit. You need to check with YOUR state licensing authority.
