How does a vasectomy prevent pregnancy?

It cuts the ducts that would otherwise have lead semen from the testicles out though the penis. No semen, no pregnancies.

It doesn't affect ejaculation though, it's mainly made up of "supporting" fluids. It'll look the same even with the semen removed.
