What was the name of Orpheus's father?

Orpheus's father was Apollo, the Greek god of music, light, and prophecy. In some versions of the myth, he is also said to be the Thracian king Oeagrus. Apollo bestowed musical talent upon Orpheus, making him a legendary musician and poet in Greek mythology.
