Oil pan gasket replacement on 97 Camry?

You can use at least two ways. First one is to buy an aftermarket oil pan gasket. Second way is to use so called "gasket maker" which is basically a special kind of silicon. Before you replace the gasket you have drain out all oil. After you are done with the oil you have remove the pan. After you have removed the pan you have to degrease (brakes cleaner will work for it) the place where the pan touches the engine body. You have decrease everything around be very careful don't miss any spot or will leak. After that read the instruction for the gasket maker and install the pan back. You have to put new oil in the engine and replace the oil filter.
