I started with Provigil which did absolutely nothing for my fatuigue. Then I switched to Adderall and guess what? My fatigue got WORSE! I took it for two days and finally had to stop. I know this sounds a little inane, but it's true. Any thoughts? Thanks! I use adderall and it works on my fatigue, but the down side is that it does not last long for me. I do not want to take much because I also suffer from severe chronic insomnia for the past 15 years. I have tried all of the psych meds and sleep aids but nothing has help. Before I started on the adderall, my fatigue was so bad that all I did was stay in bed. Litterally stayed in bed day in and day out. But when I started on the adderall I would have the energy to get up and do the things that used to do, but it only lasted for about four to five hours. So I only take it when I have to do something important and suffer when I try to go to sleep. I did use chloral hydrate several years ago for insomnia but that is hard to fine since they have came up with new benzos and hypnotics.
