Taking Care of Down Comforters

What's more luxurious than a down comforter? Some tips to keep them soft and toasty are to fluff them every day, after the bed is made, so the down inside doesn't clump together and mat. They should be kept in a comforter cover to prevent them from staining. If they are stained, they can be spot cleaned. However, if the comforter is very badly stained it will have to be taken to a laundromat with a large sized machine, or even a dry cleaner that knows how to clean down filled items. Down comforters should be line-aired without their covers in the sun around two or three times a year to keep them fresh smelling.
