What type of environment does a Rabbit prefer?

Ideally rabbits should be kept in a cage outdoors. However, one becomes a house pet due to weather, keep it in a secure cage, away from other animals whenever possible, and away from places where it may suffer injury or cause damage. (Rabbits will chew on electrical cords, woodwork, and dangerous plastic items.)
