What eats a blue chromis?

Blue chromis, small reef fish found in the tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific, are preyed upon by various predators. Common threats include larger fish such as groupers, basslets, and some species of wrasses. Additionally, larger marine animals like octopuses and certain species of sharks may also feed on blue chromis. Their vibrant coloration and schooling behavior help them evade some predators, but they remain vulnerable in the complex reef ecosystem.
