Is gravity the only force acting on a object in projectile motion?

In ideal projectile motion, gravity is the dominant force acting on the object after it's launched, assuming air resistance is negligible. Initially, other forces like thrust or tension may act on the object during its launch, but once in free flight, gravity is the primary force influencing its trajectory. Therefore, while gravity is the main force during the motion, it is not the only force during the initial phase.
