Some types of batteries work badly in the cold, say below 45F, 8Celsius. Most batteries work well in normal room temperatures and in fairly hot conditions, but some types don't like over 100F, 39Celsius. Types? These days there are many different chemistries employed in battery manufacture, just a few are:Nickle-Cadmium, Alkaline, Carbon-Zinc(obsolete), Silver-Air, Lithium-Ion. If you need a battery that works well in very hot areas you should consult battery manufacturers.
