Who is Supporter of Charles I?

Supporters of Charles I, known as Royalists or Cavaliers, were primarily those who remained loyal to the king during the English Civil War (1642-1651). This group included many members of the nobility, clergy, and those who favored the monarchy over parliamentary rule. Notable figures among the Royalists included the Duke of Buckingham, Lord Wentworth, and Prince Rupert of the Rhine. Their opposition to Parliament ultimately led to a protracted conflict that resulted in Charles I's execution in 1649.
