How come asteroids move and stars don't?

Asteroids move because they are smaller celestial bodies influenced by gravitational forces from planets and other objects, causing them to travel along orbits in the solar system. Stars, on the other hand, are massive and often part of galaxies, where their motion is governed by the gravitational pull of the galaxy itself.
