Fuses for the horn location

Normally the fuse for your horn is located under the dash in a fuse compartment. Depending on the make of the vehicle though such as a Ford Windstar the fuse panel is located behind the front cover below the steering column. After removing the screws at the bottom of the cover you then have to remove a steel cover plate which is held on by three or four small bolts. Look on the fuse cover to tell you where the fuse for your horn is located. Also you can locate your fuses by consulting your owners manual. Some newer vehicles now have two fuse compartments, one under the dash or on the side of the dash next to the driver's door and under the motorhood. If your horn fuse isn't located with your inside fuse panel then it maybe located in your outside panel in the engine compartment.
