Kinkajous, native to Central and South America, face natural threats primarily from larger predators, including jaguars, ocelots, and harpy eagles. Additionally, they can be vulnerable to snakes and large Birds of Prey. Habitat loss due to deforestation and human activities also poses a significant threat to their populations, indirectly increasing their susceptibility to predation. Despite these challenges, kinkajous are agile and nocturnal, which helps them evade many of their natural enemies.
