Who sings in the Verizon commercial If You Want to be Me Be Me?

Somebody said it was Jack Black before my entry below. It most CERTAINLY is NOT Jack Black.

It is Cat Stevens from an album called "On the Way to Find Out" in 2001.

What I want to know is who the two actors are with Whoopi in the commercial and why does Whoopi have a picture of herself as a vampire on her phone? WEIRD!
