Are the quilettes really decended from wolves?

I think so. Many tribes weres descendant from predatory animals such as eagles, falcons and wolves. Of course their beliefs can vary. For example:

The eagle tribe were supposedly descendant from eagles. But all though one tribe they all had different opinions on life. One half claimed that in times of difficulty they could change into eagles. But the other half thought this a lie. So finally they came to an agreement that the eagles gods only had gifted some of the tribe.

Think about with Quilutes. Not all the Quilutes are wolves.
