Where are CB radios still widely used?

CB radiOS work by using a system of 40 channels over short distances to enable individuals to communicate, this is mainly used in large/ HGV's between people who are on the road for long periods of time. This is still the case today, however with the surge in mobile phone use, due to the hands free kit, this has become a dying method of communication. It is also, however, fitted to a couple of models of the Harley Davidson motorbike.
