How do you pronounce the names of the four main Japanese islands?

Hokkaido - (Hokkaidou) - Hohk-kai-doh (Kai rhymes with eye, doh rhymes with slow, but extend the "oh" sound slightly.)

Honshu - (Honshuu) - Hohn-shoo (Rhymes closely enough with bone shoe)

Shikoku - She-koh-koo

Kyushu - (Kyuu-shuu) - Cue-shoo (Rhymes with blue shoe, with an extended "oo" sound on both u's)
