Who were the kings in Beowulf?

There is more than one king in Beowulf.

The King of the Danes is Hrothgar:

Hrothgar is a good king. He lives in the Kingdom that Grendel is terrorizing. He is noble, but is unable to fight. Therefore he calls Beowulf, to whom he is a father figure. He is the symbol of what type of king Beowulf becomes.

The King of the Geats is Hygelac:

Hygelac is Beowulf's father. He is also a good king.
